Casa Atlas

A homage to slow living

Conceived as an ode to its natural surroundings and a sanctuary that mimics the luxuries of a boutique hotel, Casa Atlas is the culmination of a four-year artistic journey. Sculpted from liquid-pigmented concrete—a hue inspired by countless beachside sojourns—the residence is a masterful excavation into solid rock, a harmonious blend of earth and architecture.

Spanning three meticulously curated levels, each floor serves as a distinct tableau for the family's daily rituals: a haven for rest, a salon for leisure, and a stage for culinary delights.

The interiors are a curated mélange of global influences and artisanal craftsmanship. Bespoke sofas offer a soft counterpoint to oil paintings sourced from St. Tropez, while furniture pieces—imported from the exotic landscapes of Malaysia—add a touch of the far-flung. Custom cabinetry, adorned with Vietnamese cane webbing, sits alongside vintage Moroccan rugs and ceramics handcrafted in the coastal town of Ericeira. The finishing touches are a collection of indigenous stones and terracotta from Portugal, punctuated by an array of rescued plants, each with its own tale of survival.

In essence, Casa Atlas is not just a home; it's a living, breathing gallery—a testament to the beauty of curated living and the luxury of time well spent.
